<br />695 <br /> <br />Conservation Board in meeting in Denver, Colorado, <br />May 8, 1957, that the said resolution be forwarded <br />to the Upper Colorado River Commission and the Mem- <br />bers of the Colorado Congressional Delegation for <br />their comments, and that action thereon by this Board <br />be deferred pending receipt of such comments. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br />MR. PETERSON: <br /> <br />MR. SPARKS: <br /> <br />"I second the resolution." <br /> <br />"I do not approve of the resolution <br />because it is an indefinite proposal and <br />I cannot go along with it." <br /> <br />"As attorney for the Board, I think <br />that any action in this direction should <br />come from the Upper Colorado River Com- <br />mission because there are three other <br />states involved, and the Commission is <br />organized to take such action. I think <br />it would be an error to take a more de- <br />finite stand." <br /> <br />On call for the question, the motion passed with <br />Mr. Nelson and Mr. Peterson voting "no". <br /> <br />MR.
