3 SECTION 1. 37-92-103 (4), Colorado Revised Statutes 1973,

4 is amended to read:

5 37-92-103. Definitions. (4) "Beneficial use" is the us~
6 of that amount of water that is reasonable and appropriate under
7 reasonably efficient practices to accomplish without waste the
8 purpose for .'jhich the appropriation is lawfully made and, without
9 limiting tile generality of the foregoing, includes the
10 impoundment of water for recreational purposes, including fishery

II or wildlife. For the benefit and enjoyment of present and future
