Mr. McDonald moved, seconded by Mr. Jackson, <br /> <br />, <br />I. <br />> <br />~ <br />, <br />'~ <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />the approval of the minutes as printed. There being no <br /> <br />discussion, the motion was passed on a unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br />The Board then turned to the consideration of Federal <br /> <br />appropriations for Fedp.ral Fiscal Year 1982 for Colorado <br /> <br />water projects. Mr. William Seth, Chief, Planning Division, <br /> <br />Southwest Region, U.S. Water and Power Resource Service, <br /> <br />Amarillo, Texas, made a brIef presentation to the board <br /> <br />concerning the status of the Closed Basin project in the San <br /> <br />Luis Valley (see Appendix B). Mr. Seth indicated that the <br /> <br />President's FY 1982 appropriation request included 2.538 <br /> <br />million dollars for continuing construction on the Closed <br /> <br />Basin project. At the completion of Mr. Seth's comments, he <br /> <br />responded to a few questions from the Board and from the <br /> <br />audience. ~A~~ <br />Mr~Dary~ Web~, Deputy Regional Director, Lower <br /> <br />Missouri Region, U.S. Water and Power Resources Service, <br /> <br />Denver, Colorado, was the next speaker, he addressed himself <br /> <br />to the programs and projects for which his office is <br /> <br />responsible, noting in particular that the President's FY <br /> <br />1982 appropriation request included 21.2 million dollars for <br /> <br />continuing construction on the FrYingpan-~nsas project. <br />At the conclusion of his remarks, Mr. Web er responded to a <br /> <br />few brief questions from the Board.
