<br />. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />9.2.4 Change Orders - Change orders shall be submitted in accordance with Rule 9.1.8. <br /> <br />9.2.5 Final Inspection - The engineer shall give the State Engineer at least 10 days <br />advance written notice prior to the projects final construction inspection. <br /> <br />9.2.6 Completion of Construction - The engineer shall notify the State Engineer of the <br />completion of construction in accordance with Rule 10. <br /> <br />Rule 10. Acceptance of Construction of Jurisdictional Size Dams: <br /> <br />10.1 Acceptance of Construction - Construction for which application has been made pursuant to <br />Rule 5 or Rule 6 shall not be deemed complete nor shall storage of water be permitted until the <br />State Engineer furnishes to the owner a written statement of acceptance, unless temporary approval <br />of storage is granted by the State Engineer. The acceptance shan specify the vertical height, <br />freeboard, length of the dam, the capacity of the reservoir in acre-feet, and any limitation upon, or <br />requirements for the use of the dam. The State Engineer shan furnish the acceptance or denial <br />within 60 days of receipt of a complete notification of completion. <br /> <br />10.2 Construction Completion Documents - The engineer shall provide the following <br />construction documentation within 60 days of the final construction inspection in order for the <br />project to be deemed complete: <br /> <br />10.2.1 A written notification that the project is complete and in general conforms with the <br />approved plans, specifications and change orders; <br /> <br />10.2.2 As-constructed drawings that meet the format requirements of Rule 5; <br /> <br />10.2.3 A final construction report containing the fonowing information, if applicable, in <br />accordance with the requirements of Rule 9; a summary of construction, problems <br />encountered, and solutions implemented to resolve the problems; a summary of construction <br />material tests and geologic observations; photographs of construction from exposure of the <br />foundation to completion of construction; <br /> <br />10.2.4 A record of the location of permanent monuments and instrumentation as well as <br />installation details and initial surveys and readings shall be submitted, if applicable; <br /> <br />10.2.5 A schedule for the first fining of the reservoir specifying fin rates, water level <br />elevations to be held for observation, and a schedule for inspecting and monitoring the dam. <br />No filling schedule is required for minor dams rated Low Hazard and all NPH dams or if <br />waived by the State Engineer for good cause shown. The dam owner, however, shan <br />monitor the dam frequently during the first filling; and <br /> <br />10.2.6 A long-term instrumentation monitoring plan for new dams and enlargements <br />(except for minor Low Hazard and all NPH dams) that shall include: the frequency of <br /> <br />32 <br />
