Flood Control and Floodplain Management Projects

INTRODUCTION
The Flood Control and Floodplain Management Section hereby subrnits a request for a portion of
the CWCB's existing Severance Tax fimding, which has a total amount of $275,000. A description
of the Sections requested projects for FY99 is presented below.

PROJECTS~ES

Project Name: 1-25 Corridor Master Drainage Plan - Southwest Weld County

Project Description: Develop a master drainage plan (MDP) for the Godding Hollow Basin and
the Tri-Town Basin in southwest Weld County identified as Exhibit "A" on the attached map. The
MDP is to identify the existing drainage problems, identify future drainage needs that will be
necessitated by urbanization of the basins, estimate the cost of the existing and future
improvements, develop a financial plan to fimd improvements, and establish a common drainage
design criteria that will be used by all governing agencies within the basins.

Total Project Cost: $94,000
