<br />DESCRIPTION: Arkansas Valley Conduit is a pipeline from Pueblo Reservoir to Lamar, Colorado, which
<br />can deliver water to the communities of the Lower Arkansas River Basin. Feasibility Report has been
<br />prepared, confmning the need for the conduit and the inability of the local communities to pay a
<br />significant portion of the estimated costs of the project.

<br />DESCRIPTION: Project provides 20,600 acre-feet of new storage. Corp of Engineers has studied the
<br />reduction of the antecedent flood and reoperation of flood the releases to create the storage. The 16
<br />members have contracted with CWCB to fund remainder of EIS.

<br />DESCRIPTION: Fifteen water providers are working with Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District
<br />to increase the quantity and reliability of their water supplies. The NISP goal is to provide up to 40,000
<br />acre-feet of new reliablc municipal water supply annually.
