<br />The Number Six Company is comprised of 23 members that manage 5.5 miles of open ditch, with an . <br />annual diversion of approximately 2,591 cfs and a 540 acre service area. This project involves piping the <br />5.5 miles of ditch with 4-inch to 24-inch PVC Pipe to create a pressurized system for the users. The <br />project is a joint effort with NRCS's Salinity Control Program. NRCS is contributing 75% of the cost <br />towards the design and construction of the project. <br /> <br />24. Overland Ditch and Reservoir Comoany - Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Fund <br />Water Source: Cow Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $I,2SS,SSS@2.S% for 30 yrs. <br /> <br />County: Delta <br />Project Yield: 17,000 AF <br />Project Type: Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The Overland Ditch and Reservoir Company's 120 members own and operate the Overland Reservoir, <br />located in Delta County in the Gunnison National Forest at elevation 10,Ooo-ft. This project involves <br />increasing the current reservoir capacity from 6,200 AF to 7,171 AF, raising the spillway elevation 3.8 <br />feet, installing toe drains, increasing the dam crest width, and additional embankment protection. <br />Construction is scheduled to commence in the summer of 2007. <br /> <br />25. Caroenter and Mitchell Ditch Company - Ditch Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Fund <br />Water Source: Chicken Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $607,2OO@2.S% for 30 yrs.u <br /> <br />County: Montezuma <br />Project Yield: 756 acre.feet <br />Project Type: Ditch Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The Carpenter and Mitchell Ditch Company is comprised of 5 members that own water rights. The . <br />existing ditch system is 2.5 miles in length and carries approximately 11 cfs. This project involves <br />piping the existing open ditch system with 8-inch to 21.inch PVC pipe and installing meters at each <br />delivery point. The project is part of the NRCS Salinity Control Program. NRCS will he contributing a <br />$379,500 grant towards design and construction of the project, which will be applied to the CWCB loan. <br />The final CWCB loan amount is anticipated to be $227,700. <br /> <br />.\ <br /> <br />62 <br />
