<br />120 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />February 17, 1953 <br />Morning Session <br />Argonaut Hotel. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 9:15 a.m. by Vice-Chairman <br />George J. Bailey. <br /> <br />Mr. Bailey announced that before considering the matter <br />further this morning, he would ask Mr. Petry, Mr. Saunders, Mr. Dutcher, <br />ill'. Frank Delaney, tw. Royce J. Tipton and Mr. Jean Breitenstein to <br />meet with him. <br /> <br />The Board was in recess. <br /> <br />* 1:. -If- ~} .~ .;~ -l:- -It- .;:- <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Board reconvened at 2:30 p.m., <br />at which time the Civil Service Commissioners arrived. <br /> <br />Discussion on the matter of filling the position of Director <br /> <br />ensued. <br /> <br />It was moved by E. L. Dutcher and seconded by John W. Beaty <br />that the Board go into Executive Session with the Civil Service <br />Commission for the purpose of discussing the matter further. <br /> <br />On vote being taken, the motion carried unanimously. The <br />Board then went into Executive Session, at 2:45 p.m. <br /> <br />-l:- .;t- -l:- -l:- {(- ~:f- -l:- .,,- .,,- '" <br /> <br />Executive Session <br /> <br />After the departure of the Civil Service Co~nissioners, it <br />was moved by Teller Ammons and seconded by J. M. Dille that Ivan C. <br />Crawford be designated as provisional appointee for the position of <br />Director of the Colorado Water Conservation Board. <br /> <br />On vote being taken, the motion carried unanimously and <br />was declared adopted. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />It was moved by John W. Beaty and seconded by George A. Pughe <br />that an annual salary of $9,120.00 be suggested to the Governor for <br />the position of Director of the Colorado Water Conservation Board. <br /> <br />On vote being taken, the motion carried unanimously and <br />was declared adopted. <br />
