The statement regarding the 6,000 acre-feet of <br />water required hy the reclamation project is not correct, he said. <br />For the record, he added, the Denver ;Yat,er Board has oledged 10 per <br />cent of its SUG?ly to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal. ~. Petry said <br />the Arsenal has asked for 10,000,000 gallons of water per day in <br />addition to its present uses. <br /> <br />Mr. Mosely submitted the follovQng facts for the record: <br /> <br />Denver supplies 16,100 acre-feet of water per year, <br />present and potential for two years, to six Federal <br />installations, namely, the Atomic Energy Plant, Rocky <br />Mountain Arsenal, Fitzsimons Hospital, Lowry Air Force <br />Base, Federal Correctional Institution, and the Federal <br />Center. In 1953, the water consQmption of these <br />installations, plus firm cOR~itments made to them, ,nIl <br />equal 15.84 per cent of Denver's average daily use in <br />1952.
