O'Rourke. <br /> <br />Meeting was recesserl until 2;00 p.m. <br /> <br />BMrd reconvened at 2.00 p.m. on November 3, 1939 with <br />Direotor Stone presiding. <br /> <br />Whereupon George'ilailey was called upon to ':make a report <br />of -the special commi.-t-tee appointed to ccn1'er wi'th the Attorney <br />General. He reported that it was the understanding of the Committee <br />that the members thereof -were to meet with the Attorney General for <br />the purpose of dralling up a statement in line with the resolution <br />l'assed in the forenoon by the Board. He stated that there had <br />been oonsiderable disoussion but no aonolusions 11191'9 reaohed. Mr. <br />Bailey's statement and report were follC1led by a statement by <br />Attorney General Rogers in further referenoe to the proposed answer. <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Bailey and seoonded by Judge O'Rourke <br />and Mr. Smith that the Gpvernor and Director be appointed as e. <br />oommi'\:tee to ooni'er further with the Attorney General with respect <br />to the answer on the Laramie Hi vel' Case. <br /> <br />Motion aarried. <br /> <br />. <br />At this point Governor Ralph L. Carr 0_ into the meet- <br />ing and there followed a further oonsideration of the an\l1rer in <br />tlle larllIDie River Case whioh was partioipated in by Mr. L. R. Temple <br />01' Fort Collins, Colorado, of oounsel in the litigation. <br /> <br />C. L.
