'

Thereupon Attorney General Hinkley presented the follow-
ing resolution and moved its passage:

RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, it appears, and the Colorado Water Conservation
Board does find, that the State Engineer of Colorado is re-
quired to publish a Biennial Report which, besides a text show-
ing water supply, crop conditions and material concerning
storage reservoirs and dams and other general information,
contains a description of stream gaging stations and tables
of stream discharges for the biennial period; that such re-
port is used by the Colorado Water Conservation Board and is
essential for carrying out certain phases of the work of the
Board; and that the material for the Thirty-second Biennial
Report of the State Engineer, issued as a report of the De-
partment of Water Resources for the 'year 1943-l944, is ready
for publication; and

WHEREAS, from the representation made to the Board by
M. A. Pughe seconded the adoption of the motion and af-
ter further discussion, a vote was taken resulting in the un-
animous passage of the motion and the resolution was declared
adopted.

The Director then called attention to the fact that there was
due under the existing cooperative contract between the Colorado Water
Conservation Board and the U. S. Geological Survey for the installation,
maintenance and operation of gaging stations for project investigations
the sum of $6,300.

Thereupon J. M.
