transportation system in the Plum Creek
Valley, and in the interests of anticipated
future metropolitan growth of Plum Creek
Valley.

In the Bear Creek basin the current I
investigations relate principally to flood
protection for the metropolitan reach of the
Bear Creek Valley. Our site investigations
relate principally to the Mount Carbon Reser-
voir site.

On Sand and Toll Gate CreeJ(s our investi-
gations are directed toward flood protection
for Aurora, Colorado and metropolitan Denver.
The studies in progress relate principally to
a damsite above Bud(ley Field on Sand Creek
and an additional damsite on Toll Gate CreeJ(.

In the upper Bijou Creek basin we are
studying seven potential damsites which have
an aggregate drainage area controllable of
65 percent of the Bijou Creek basin.

Flood Plain Information Studies for the
metropolitan region of Denver, Colorado, We
recently released the advance issues of Volume
III covering Bear CreeJ( and Clear Creek for
the metropolitan region of Denver. Field data
essential to hydraulic studies have recently
been received for streams scheduled to be
published in Volume IV of the Denver Flood
Plain Information series.

On our small project investigations we
are in the process of detailed feasibility
and design studies for a flood control dam on
Skunk Creek for protection of Bureau of
Standards property and a residential area of
Boulder, Colorado.

Our reconnaissance investigations under
our Section 205 authority - we have initiated
a reconnaissance investigation On Bear Creek
above Evergreen and presently we are exploring
