Mouse Habitat in Coniunction with the <br />Habitat Conservation Plans. <br />The pmpose of this project is to maintain viable populations of Preble's Meadow Jumping Mouse in <br />Colorado, This project includes preserving and protecting important Preble's meadow jumping <br />mouse (PMJM) habitats through the purchase of options and for completion of the planning process <br />in counties where mouse populations have been identified, <br /> <br />Summary <br /> <br /> <br />FY 02-03 <br />Proposal. <br /> <br />FY 02-03 Contributions from other sources <br />and operating support (leverage) <br /> <br />$80,000 <br /> <br />GOCO - $50,836 <br />Wildlife Cash/Non-Game <br />Checkoff - $ 1,082 <br /> <br />Total: $131,918 <br /> <br />Project TaskslDeliverables and Associated Costs for FY 02-03 Recommendation: <br /> <br />. Finalize agreements with landowners to add an additional 75 acres of habitat secured through <br />easement or fee title. <br />. Work with USFWS to secure a final recovery plan <br />. Complete a research project on population ecology ofPMJM (birth, death, movement) <br /> <br />Costs for all tasks related to this project shall not exceed $80,000 from the Species Conservation <br />Trust Fund. <br />
