Merriell, Seoretary-Engineer of the Colorado River Water <br />Conservatiol!l.':Distriot oontinued .the explanation of the problems in the fifty <br />projeot areas in Western Colorado. <br /> <br />Mr. Hun-cley presented the problems of the people in Western Montrose <br />County in the San Migttel area, whioh he represented. <br /> <br />Governor Carr addressed the meeting oQZloerning his oonferenoe wi-th the <br />California Colorado River COlmnission. He .-j;a.ted they were greatly concerned <br />regarding a number of projeots whioh Arizon~_s endeavoring -Co promote. in- <br />oluding one on -che Gila River for an $80,000,000 development, and that there <br />were some others around $135.000,000, all being ~avorably considered. He <br />stated that representatives of California felt that Arizo,nl',/shoJl~d ratify the <br />Colorado River Co:mp8.et before the other Celorade River, ,llIlsin states.. should <br />support her projeets, and, that he strongly oOll.ourred ,in this feeling=...
