<br />The meeting was called to order by Honorable Ralph L. Carr, Chairman
<br />of the Board at 10r40 A.M., July 23, 1941.
<br />
<br />Governor Carr presented Commissioner Joha C. Page who addressed the
<br />meeting about projeots being undertaken by tAe ~. S. Bureau of Reolamation.
<br />He stated that as far as the irrigation projeots are oonoerned power is the
<br />importlUlt faotor at present and only projeots whioh have a defense angle oan
<br />secure the neoessary priority ratings from the ORK for material and labor.

<br />1Lr. Page stated there is a definite move on foot to get an inventory of
<br />projects of all types that have been investigated and are ready to start
<br />when the present emergency is over. He stated that plans are being made te
<br />combine six big power projects in Colcrado and Wyoming into one big system,
<br />whioh is to be supplemented by the oonstruotion of steam power plants. These
<br />will inolude the Shoshone at Cody, the Riverton at Riverton, Wyoming, the
<br />Colorado-Big Thompson, the Kendrick, the North Platte and the Guernsey on
<br />the North Platte.
