Statewide Water Supply Initiative - Phase 2 Update

Over the last year, the Statewide Water Supply Initiative (SWSI) team has executed Phase 2 ofthe
SWSI process. To date, the SWSI team has conducted three rounds of Technical Roundtable (TRT)
meetings, with the exception of the Gap TRT which is scheduled for a third meeting on May 23,
2006. The Board will be provided with an updated of information developed and presented at these
meetings. The following items will be discussed:

. Status of Water Conservation and Efficiency, Alternative Agricultural Transfers and Recreation
and Environment Needs TRTs
. May 23, 2006 Addressing the Gap Meeting
. Schedule

Attachments to this memorandum include an update on the status of Water Conservation and
