Make recommendations to support efforts by <br />the Department of Natural Resources, local <br />officials, water owners and others to <br />accomplish water, wildlife and recreation <br />goals for the Arkansas River and associated <br />reservoirs, including Trinidad Reservoir, <br />John Martin Reservoir and the Great Plains <br />Reservoirs. <br /> <br />The committee will Qevelop a work plan that <br />provides for timely action on each of its <br />responsibilities. The work plan will reflect the <br />time table for exi~ting rulemaking procedures of <br />the State Engineer. for current c;::ommi ttnents and <br />efforts related to the provision of \.later for <br />wildlife and recreation purposes, and for <br />specific yet-to-be identified needs related to <br />the ruling on the Kansas vs. Colorado lawsuit. <br /> <br />6. The Colorado Department of Natural Resources <br />shall provide staff support to the committee, <br />with assistance as appropriate by staff members <br />of organizations represented on the committee. <br /> <br />7 . <br /> <br />This executive order shall <br />December 31, 1994, unless <br />order. <br /> <br />expire no later than <br />extended by executive <br /> <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />GIVEN under my hand and the <br />Executive Seal of the State <br />of Colorado on this fifth day <br />of August, 1994. <br /> <br />
