<br />data and summarizing it; and <br />5, Provide recommendations - The CWCB will require that the contractor prepare a report with study <br /> <br />, <br /> <br /> <br />findings and recommendations, <br />The contractor's submittal must respond specifically to all of the CWCB's directives listed in <br />Tasks 1-6 below, The contractor, will at a minimum, successfully contact and obtain survey infonnation <br />from 90% of the Colorado Water Users on the target list. ~his project is designed to focus the efforts of <br />technical assistance and planning efforts' of the state and others by identifying precipitation short <br />communities and offering them and the state a useful document to better understand and plan for drought. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />IV. Scope of Work and Performance Tasks <br />Six tasks have been developed to aide in the contractor's survey of Colorado Water Users and Suppliers, <br />This survey and project will obtain base data to be used for decision making and future planning, At a <br />minimum, the successful contractor's proposal must respond to the Boards directives in Tasks 1-6 of the <br />Scope of Work listed below, The contractor will need to! incorporate the input an Advisory Committee <br />composed of various Colorado State and Federal agenci~s, academic interests, and associations. The <br />agencies will include, but are not limited to: The Colorado Department of Natural Resources, the Office e <br />of the State Engineer, the Office of Emergency Management, the Department of Agriculture, the <br />Department of Local Affairs, the Office of the State Climatologist, the Office of the Attorney General, the <br />Colorado Municipal League, Colorado Counties, Inc" the National Oceanic and Atmospheric <br />Administration, the National Weather Service, the Col9rado Water Resources Research Institute, the Fann <br />Bureau, the Colorado Cattleman's Association, the US :\3ureau of Reclamation, the US Geological Survey, <br />The Natural Resources Conservation Service, the US Army Corps of Engineers, The Colorado Water <br />Congress, The Colorado Water Utility Council, the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry, the <br />Colorado Special District Association, local and regiotial water providers such as the Denver Water Board <br />and the City of Loveland, real estate and development fnterests, the State of Colorado Drought and Flood <br />Task Forces and the Colorado Natural Hazards Mitigafion Council. <br /> <br />Task 1: The contractor will develop a survey tarl!et list and a survev for water suppliers and water <br />~ The survey must be tested prior to actual use. the survey responses must secure a wide spectrum <br />, <br /> <br />of answers that will yield a greater confidence in surv~y results, It is anticipated that the survey will be e <br />administered/delivered by multiple methods including mail, telephone, Internet and in person, The <br /> <br />4 <br />
