Consultant Selection Process <br />Pursuant to Sections 24-30-1408, CRS, notice is hereby given that the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board (CWCB) may retain contracted professional services for the Drought Planning Survey/Carry-over <br />Storage Assessment Project. The CWCB is required by statute to conduct a consultant selection process, <br />The selection process will include the following steps: <br />I, Request proposals from interested firms, teams or parties, <br />2, Evaluate and rank the submitted proposals based on criteria listed below, <br />3, Conduct interviews with the top three (3) ranked firms, <br />4, Rank the firms or teams based on the proposals and interviews, <br />5, Enter scope of work and contract negotiations with the highest ranked firm team or party, If a <br />satisfactory contract cannot be negotiated, enter scope of work and contact negotiations <br />sequentially with the second and third ranked firm, team, or party, <br />Consideration of the contractor for this project will include the following criteria: <br />. intimate knowledge of the physical and political circumstances ofthe State of Colorado with relation <br />to water and drought issues; <br />. extensive knowledge and experience with the hazard of drought; <br />. the ability to construct interactive databases and Internet websites; <br />· experience in survey methodology and implementation; and <br />· no predetermined judgments or recommendations concerning the project. <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />I <br />
