(inaudible - noise of paper rustling)
You may also want to consider... (inaudible) ..modifiability, at the
workshop..(inaudible ).

This is page 8 of the staff memo?

Yes, its the memo from Peter Evans and Gene Jencsok dated December
5th, pages 7 and 8.

Actually, its 7, 8, 9 and 10. ....(inaudible - paper noise).. its findings and
determinations that will need to be made.

So we're finding that there's water available for this? Which one's that?

(Inaudible)...whispered consultation with AG's staff, then fragmented conversation between staff
members:

David Harrison:

Is that the requisite water availability findings?..that there is water
available for appropriation...section B...that's in here and in the exceedence
numbers that we have...

Well, usually there's a forth one that says that water is available.

(Inaudible )..fragmented comments

Ray Wright:

David Harrison:

Jim Lochhead:

Is anyone uncomfortable with the..under fmdings of purpose that we
preserve the natural environment to conserve and recover the fish? I don't
mind conserving and recovery them to whatever degree our water rights
will do so, but I don't know about the presumption that these filings are
going to be..going to stand alone towards recovery or conservation.

Well, its clear they're not intended to stand alone, and we maybe need to
make that clear in the motion, but that these are an essential ingredient in
an overall program that is reasonable designed to recover and conserve the
fish..

Additionally, the Division of Wildlife is available to give us some opinions
about the biological aspects of the natural environment and the adequacy
of the water rights.

Minutes of December 13, 1995 Special CWCB Meeting
