Mavis, Bill \VoOOcock: Letter of intent- Columbine Country Club is seeking an easement for portions of the eweB o.....ned property adjacent to the Club property. The proposed easement property is generally east of the Club property and west of the South Platte River. The land area is approximately 6.25 acres. The purpose of this easement is (0 allow certain golf course features (4 greens. 2 tees) to be relocated. There would be no structures built on this easement. lbere would be approximately 2.5 acres of turf grass and 1,000 linear feet of cart path in the easement. We have met with Urban Drainage and Flood Control District. the Colorado Conservation Board, and one member of the U.S. Anny Corps of Engineers regarding the proposed easement. The Club would be responsible for all maintenance of me casement. As part of this easement the current fence easement on this portion of the property would be vacated and the fence removed. The proposed easement would be set back at least 25 feet from the top of the South Platte River bank for its entire length to accommodate the existing UDFeD maintenance road and activities.
