Mavis, Bill \VoOOcock: <br /> <br />Letter of intent- <br /> <br />Columbine Country Club is seeking an easement for portions of the eweB <br />o.....ned property adjacent to the Club property. The proposed easement property is <br />generally east of the Club property and west of the South Platte River. The land area is <br />approximately 6.25 acres. <br />The purpose of this easement is (0 allow certain golf course features (4 greens. 2 <br />tees) to be relocated. There would be no structures built on this easement. lbere would be <br />approximately 2.5 acres of turf grass and 1,000 linear feet of cart path in the easement. <br />We have met with Urban Drainage and Flood Control District. the Colorado <br />Conservation Board, and one member of the U.S. Anny Corps of Engineers regarding the <br />proposed easement. The Club would be responsible for all maintenance of me casement. <br />As part of this easement the current fence easement on this portion of the property would <br />be vacated and the fence removed. <br />The proposed easement would be set back at least 25 feet from the top of the <br />South Platte River bank for its entire length to accommodate the existing UDFeD <br />maintenance road and activities.
