The 2006 grant is expected to <br />be the same amount. <br /> <br />At its December 3rd meeting, the Board set the 2005 direct loan rate (loans under $1 million) at <br />3.5%. <br /> <br />In March, the Authority will be evaluating the refunding ($20 million) of the Drinking Water <br />Revenue Bonds, 2000 Series A. If the market remains as it is today, the refunding would result <br />in an estimated present value savings of $1.1 million for 5 borrowers. <br /> <br />Small Water Resources Proiects and Water Revenue Bonds <br /> <br />At its January 28 meeting, the Authority Board will be considering the approval of Water <br />Revenue Bond loans to East Cherry Creek Valley WSD ($55 million) and the City of Fort <br />Lupton ($2.1 million). Later this year, the city of Fountain may seek up to $10 million for water <br />supply facilities. <br /> <br />Animas - La Plata Proiect I La Plata Escrow <br /> <br />For 2005, the project was allocated $52 million for construction and $10 million for transmission <br />facilities. The appropriations bill also contained language limiting the non-Indian sponsors' <br />obligation to $43 million within the $500 million dollar cost estimate released in July 2003. <br /> <br />Board Appointments <br /> <br />As I mentioned in December, the governor appointed Barbara Green of Denver to replace Sara <br />Duncan for the City and County of Denver position and Patricia Vice of Genoa to replace Louis <br />Rinaldo for the South Platte drainage basin position.
