have to proceed to prepare an authorization
report on the Narrows Unit. We hope to have
such a report completed in October of next
year, 1965: a feasibility report completed
with the data that we now have on hand.

On the Trinidad Project our irrigation
report was completed in July: reviewed during
September: and was released in the last couple
of weeks. We have authorization now for
negotiation of repayment contract with the
Purgatoire River Water Conservancy District
and some meetings have been held with that
board on the repayment contract.

We have started the engineering analysis
on the Sangre de Cristo Project which, as you
may recall, is a power project to develop the
fall in the Arkansas River from Salida to the
Pueblo Reservoir of the Fryingpan-Arkansas
Project. It is strictly a power investigation
and probably it cannot be completed prior to
final studies and decisions on the Fryingpan-
Arkansas Project but that investigation will
be carried along with the Fryingpan-Arkansas,
the construction of that project.

On the Cache la Poudre Project we have
made considerable progress there in the past
several months and have completed our field
work and are now preparing our feasibility cost
estimates and designs for the Idylwilde Reser-
voir and the highway location around that
reservoir. We still have under way the
economic studies, water-use studies, for that
project but it is moving along about on
schedule.

In the Upper South Platte Unit we have
made good progress with the reconnaissance
report requested by this Board and hope to
have that released to the Board in the very
near future. It has been drafted and has been
sent to our Washington office for their review
and we are going ahead with the regular inves-
tigation with federal funds on the Upper South

I

I
