I

I

MR. STAPLETON:

MR. JENNINGS:

and the first field inspection was made in the
last several months on that.

On the Hayden-Archer Transmission Line,
construction from Hayden to the Archer Sub-
station near Cheyenne, Wyoming, progress has
not been as good as we had hoped in the last
couple of months. However, we are on schedule.
They were pretty far ahead. We are now about
74 percent completed on that job. That is a
230-kv transmission line and it is the mountain
end of it that is getting a little bit behind
at the present time. The plains end the con-
tractor chose to do that earlier and do his
mountain work later and that has slowed him
down to some extent. The Archer Substation
itself is coming along quite well and there,
at the end of November, we had about 88 percent
of the substation completed. On the trans-
mission line we had about 74 percent comple-
tion at the end of November.

I believe that covers the construction
progress and planning progress in Region 7
since the last meeting of the Board.

I have with me here today two hydrolo-
gists from our Region that came particularly
on account of the agenda. We have Bob Madsen
and Dave Cudgel, who have not previously
attended these meetings but I am sure they are
going to get a good deal out of the discussions
here today.

Thank you, Ben."

"Thank you, Jim. Are there any questions
by members of the Board of Region 7's report?
Do any of our guests have any questions they'd
like to put to Mr. Knights on his report or
any other people from Region 7? Thanks very
much, Jim.

Now we'll have a report from Region 4,
Bob Jennings. Bob."

"Thank you, Ben.
