<br />provisions of the Upper Colorado River Basin Compact of October 11, 1948 (Public
<br />Law 37, 81st Congress, First Session), the Colorado River Compact of November 24,
<br />1922 (House Document 605, 67th Congress, Fourth Session), and the Boulder Canyon
<br />Project Act of December 2l, 1928 (45 Sta~': 1057-1064). In the event any curtail-
<br />ment of use of Colorado Riv"er water in the State of ColoradO is necessary to sat-
<br />isfy the provisions of the Colorado River Compact or the Upper Colorado River BAsin
<br />Compact, then the diversions by the Project for use in Eastern Colorado shall be
<br />curtailed before-there is any-Cur-rallment of the right to store water in Aspen--
