EXAMINATION OF OTHER RIVER ISSUES <br />The Authority will assist the CWCB in reviewing the work of the Consultant in the six specific <br />work tasks for examining other river issues: 1) Identifying Areas of High Flood Hazard; 2) <br />Identifying Habitat and Recreation Concerns; 3) Identifying Infrastructure at Risk; 4) Clarifying <br />Regulatory Requirements; 5) Describing Transbasin Diversions; and 6) Identifying Water <br />Quality Issues for Specific Locations. A maximum of six (6) meetings may be scheduled to <br />complete these six specific work tasks. The Authority will provide recommendations for <br />improving the Consultant's work products and will assist the CWCB in assuring the direct <br />applicability of the work products to the needs of the Roaring Fork River and Frying Pan River <br />valleys and their residents. <br /> <br />5. CONLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />The Authority will assist the CWCB in reviewing the work of the Consultant in the three specific <br />. work tasks for preparing conclusions and recommendations: I) Developing Stream Stabilization <br />Alternatives; 2) Designing a Stream Stability Monitoring Program; and 3) Prioritizing Locations <br />for Monitoring and Mitigation. A maximum of three (3) meetings may be scheduled to complete <br />these three specific work tasks, The Authority will provide recommendations for improving the <br />Consultant's work products and will assist the CWCB in assuring the direct applicability of the <br />work products to the needs of the Roaring Fork River and Frying Pan River valleys and their <br />residents. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />DEVELOPMENT OF DISPLAY AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS <br /> <br />The Authority will assist the CWCB in reviewing the work of the Consultant in the three specific <br />work tasks for developing display and educational materials: 1) Reviewing Historic Aerial <br />Photographs; 2) Computer Modeling of Stream Stability Mitigation Measures; and 3) Preparing a <br />Graphic Demonstration of River Flow. A maximum of three (3) meetings may be scheduled to <br />complete these three specific work tasks. The Authority will provide recommendations for <br />improving the Consultant's work products and will assist the CWCB in assuring the direct <br />applicability of the work products to the needs of the Roaring Fork River and Frying Pan River <br />valleys and their residents, <br /> <br />PROJECT MILESTONES AND REQUESTS FOR PAYMENT <br />The Contractor may request payment by the Authority at the following Project Milestones in the <br />amounts specified: <br /> <br />I. Completion of Identification of Areas and Causes of Stream Instability <br />($1250) <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Completion of Examination of Other River Issues <br />($1750) <br />
