EXAMINATION OF OTHER RIVER ISSUES The Authority will assist the CWCB in reviewing the work of the Consultant in the six specific work tasks for examining other river issues: 1) Identifying Areas of High Flood Hazard; 2) Identifying Habitat and Recreation Concerns; 3) Identifying Infrastructure at Risk; 4) Clarifying Regulatory Requirements; 5) Describing Transbasin Diversions; and 6) Identifying Water Quality Issues for Specific Locations. A maximum of six (6) meetings may be scheduled to complete these six specific work tasks. The Authority will provide recommendations for improving the Consultant's work products and will assist the CWCB in assuring the direct applicability of the work products to the needs of the Roaring Fork River and Frying Pan River valleys and their residents. 5. CONLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS The Authority will assist the CWCB in reviewing the work of the Consultant in the three specific . work tasks for preparing conclusions and recommendations: I) Developing Stream Stabilization Alternatives; 2) Designing a Stream Stability Monitoring Program; and 3) Prioritizing Locations for Monitoring and Mitigation. A maximum of three (3) meetings may be scheduled to complete these three specific work tasks, The Authority will provide recommendations for improving the Consultant's work products and will assist the CWCB in assuring the direct applicability of the work products to the needs of the Roaring Fork River and Frying Pan River valleys and their residents. 6. DEVELOPMENT OF DISPLAY AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS The Authority will assist the CWCB in reviewing the work of the Consultant in the three specific work tasks for developing display and educational materials: 1) Reviewing Historic Aerial Photographs; 2) Computer Modeling of Stream Stability Mitigation Measures; and 3) Preparing a Graphic Demonstration of River Flow. A maximum of three (3) meetings may be scheduled to complete these three specific work tasks. The Authority will provide recommendations for improving the Consultant's work products and will assist the CWCB in assuring the direct applicability of the work products to the needs of the Roaring Fork River and Frying Pan River valleys and their residents, PROJECT MILESTONES AND REQUESTS FOR PAYMENT The Contractor may request payment by the Authority at the following Project Milestones in the amounts specified: I. Completion of Identification of Areas and Causes of Stream Instability ($1250) 2. Completion of Examination of Other River Issues ($1750)
