Funding for Phase I has <br /> <br />already been approved by the Board and the Legislature has <br /> <br />authorized in SB67 (1980 Session) $1,000,000 for state <br /> <br />participation. <br /> <br />Phase II includes: <br /> <br />(a) A 24 inch line extending from 26 Road on H Road to 1-70 <br /> <br />interchange and South across the Colocado River. <br /> <br />(b) A 5 million gallon storage tank at East Orchard Mesa. <br /> <br />(c) A 10 million gallon treatment plant next to existing filter <br /> <br />plant. <br /> <br />(d) A 12 million gallon treatment plant next to existing filter <br /> <br />plant. <br /> <br />(e) A 30 inch line from the end of the 36 inch line in (a) of <br /> <br />Phase I extending north to the five million gallon tank in (f). <br /> <br />If) A.5 million gallon storage tank to be located at the Grand <br /> <br />Junction airport. <br /> <br />(g) A 24 inch line extending from the end of (a) on Phase II to <br /> <br />tie into the proposed 5 million gallon tank in (d) Phase I. <br /> <br />(h) A 30 inch line extending from the end of (c) in Phase I to 26 <br /> <br />and I Roads. <br /> <br />(i) An 18 inch line extension from Highway 340 tie of 24 inch line <br /> <br />west, across Colorado River to tie into a 12 inch line at <br /> <br />Highway 50 at K Road. <br /> <br />The total estimated cost of both phases of the project including construc- <br /> <br />tion, engineering, right of way, permits, construction management and <br /> <br />- 3 - <br />
