We believe cities should have the right to appropriate water for in-stream
recreational flows.
We support Golden's application for water rights for its whitewater park. We believe that recrealion is a legitimate use of
water.
The demand for water recreation is continually growing along with our growing population. Recreational flows meet this
need. In addition, minimal stream flows are also good for the environment-for fish and aquatic life

Sincerely,
Bob & Jill Stecker
ACA Open Canoe Slalom
Committee Co-chairs

Boulder, CO

e

e

1
