Table 6 shows the wide variation of precipi1ation between four relatively close precipitation
sites, the 1976-77 water-year was well below average at three sites, the 1977-78 water-year was
above average for one site and below average for one site, the 1980 - 83 water-years were above
average for all sites. It is staffs opinion that the seven years of stream-flow data analyzed is
representative of average to above average stream-flow. Figure 4 below shows the East Fork
Parachute Creek stream flow for the 1976-1983 time period.
