MR. NELSON:

"What does it mean?"

MR. ODELL:

"Evaporation from a solid state.

I

computation of streamflow records for the
1964 water year is progressing on schedule.
It is anticipated that our report will be re-
leased sometime during June of this year. The
computations by the State Engineer's office
are coming out to us a little bit faster than
usual so we anticipate. if anything, we might
get it out a little bit earlier this year.

We have several other reports. There is
a report on 'Geology and ground-water resources
of Washington county, Colorado' that has been
published as a water supply paper. These have
just recently come out and previously there was
an open file report on this but now Washington
county, Colorado has been published as a water
supply paper. And also there was a basic data
report on that.

The report 'Water Resources of the Upper
Colorado River Basin--Basic Data' by W. v.
Iorns is this paper that has been in the mill
for quite sometime and it has finally been
released as Professional paper 442. Now this
is an enormous tome, a volume about that thick
(illustrating with his hand) and it is rather
expensive but it represents an awful lot of
work.

I

These reports can be obtained from the
Superintendent of Documents in Washington or
from the Survey Public Inquiries Office here
in Denver in the new Custom House. These both
must be purchased except by the cooperating
officials, libraries, and organizations of that
type. The smaller water supply papers, this
one 'Geology and ground-water resources of
Washington County' is $2.00, and 1779, which is
'Geology and ground-water resources in eastern
Cheyenne and Kiowa Counties', is 60~. These
prices vary. They are a nominal price and it
depends a great deal on the amount of printing
