I

I

MR. STAPLETON:

REP. WOOLF:

MR. STAPLETON:

REP. WOOLF:

MR. STAPLETON:

MR. L. WILLIAMS:

MR. STAPLETON:

MR. SWEET:

MR. SPARKS:

"I'd like at this time to take the oppor-
tunity to introduce to you a freshman Representa-
tive from Boulder, Representative Woolf. We
are delighted to have you with us."

"'l'hank you."

"Mr. Woolf has a few bills in the House
relating to water matters and is very inter-
ested in them in the Boulder area. Do you have
anything you'd like to say to the Board or to
our guests?"

"I'm here just to listen, Mr. Chairman.
'l'hank you."

"'l'hen we will proceed with the next agenda
item. I'd like also to say that we do see a
former member of this Board, Lew William~, here.
Lew, we are glad to have you with us today."

"'l'hank you."

"Now we'll go to Item #2c, a report from
Region 5. Mr. Bud Sweet. Bud."

"Mr. Chairman. you have the formal report
from the regional office and I have nothing to
add with the exception that runoff in the
valley at this time looks to us like 1957.
However, we do have historical figures and it
is two weeks too early to make an accurate
guess. 'l'he 1st of March is the one to watch
for the San Luis Valley.

'l'he San Luis Project is at an all-time low
activity-wise awaiting this Board's actions on
the two reports we have up for your review and
comments.

Are there any questions? Otherwise, I am
through. "

"Do you have any ideas as to what we should
comment?"
