Wild Life refuges will be developed.
No salvage would actually take place
in those refuges. I think in any consid-
eration of this project, the Water Board,
of course, needs to assess the effect of
these refuges and decide for themselves I
too whether they support those as part
of the project.

We will be glad to help answer any
questions. The project is very simple
and we hope or do believe that it offers
the best solution to Colorado's problems
in connection with the compact.

Well, members of the Board, ladies
and gehtlemen, I think now is the time
for some questions and answers. I am
going to ask first that the members of
the Colorado Water Conservation Board
ask any questions they care to; then
after that, we will have any questions
from the floor. r would like, however,
to reserve this privilege, if I might,
in the event the questions are long, to,
at some point, call a halt to them because
th~ Water Board has a plane out at the air-
port which they must take back to Denver
early this evening.

With that as the only ground rule,
r will now ask if there are any questions
from the Colorado Water Board, the Bureau,
or members of our staff.

Most reclamation projects developed
by the Bureau are repaid by the beneficiaries.
