BASIS FOR INSTREAM FLOW RECOMMENDATION

(' ' . The DOW documented that a natural environment is present in the form ofa cutthroat trout fis~ery.,_,_
,_ · Based on the DOW's biological recommendation, flows of3 cfs, summer, and 1 cfs, winter, are
necessary to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. However, the winter instream
flow recommendation was reduced to 0.9 cfs based on the water availability analysis.'l'heDO~'- - ,
believes the lower flow recommendation will still preserve the natural environment.
· CWCB staffhas conducted a water availability analysis and determined these amounts are availabt~ for
