Motion <br />adopted unanimously. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Aqenda Item 4 - Director's Report <br /> <br />Mr. McDonald reported on and discussed the following <br />subjects: <br /> <br />1. Status of construction progress on the Dallas Creek and <br />Dolores projects. <br />2. Status of contractual arrangements for the San Luis <br />Valley project. Closed Basin Division. <br />3. The President's federal budget for fiscal year 1986 and <br />various issues which will have a bearing on the fiscal <br />budget. <br /> <br />Mr. David Walker reported on the status of ongoing <br />activities on the ~outh Platte channelization project. In his <br />discussion. Mr. Walker referred to his January 10. 1985. <br />memorandum to the Board members stating that the Corps of <br />Engineers has asked that the Board enact an updated version of <br />a resolution granting the Corps the right to construct the <br />channel improvements on Board-owned rights-of-way purchased for <br />Stage II of the project. Mr. Getches moved. seconded by Mr. <br />Vandemoer. that the Board approve a resolution authorizing the <br />U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to enter upon the acquired <br />rights-of-way of the South Platte Channel Flood Protection <br />Project for the construction of said project. Personnel matters. <br /> <br />Aqenda Item 5 - Attorney General's Report <br /> <br />First Assistant Attorney General Wendy Weiss reported on <br />the following subjects: <br /> <br />1. Animas-La Plata litigation. <br />2. Closed Basin litigation. <br />3. Riverside litigation. <br />4. Filing of applications for instream flows or natural <br />lake levels.
