Can you hear when the machinery is going
across the street, those of you in the back
of the room? Let's see if we can't close the
windows. May I suggest then, that maybe we
can all move closer. It's going to be hard
for us to talk over the machinery, We'll do
our best and we want full participation, if
we can, in the program.

Before we go into the question of Mr.
Moses' contract, I would like to introduce to
the guests here, the members of the Board that
are present, First of all, Dr. E. L. Clark,
Director of Natural Resources for the state of
Colorado. Will you stand up, Dr, Clark? Next
is Ted McCandless from Craig; Dave ~IJer from
Greeley;Gene Whitten, the State Engineer, from
Denver; F, M. Peterson from Delta; Larry
Sparks, the Director of the Board; and, the
brains behind everything, Mrs, Keating, our
secretary; LewWiliams; Bill Nelson; Clarence
Burr; Dick Conour; Frank ialenski and - where
is Bill Williams? He was here a minute ago.ff

"The only member missing and due here is
Duke Dunbar, the Attorney General,"

"The last report I had on that was that
John Barnard, Jr., who usually represents
him, was unable to come at the last minute
since his father is in the hospital and was to
go into surgery and he didn't want to leave
him."

"The contract for Itr. Moses expires to-
morrow. "That is that contract, Larry, is it a
monthly - - -?"

"It's a yearly contract, to be terminated
upon thirty days notice by either party."

"And it's what? $500 or $600 a month?"

"In the present budget it's $600 per
month."
