"Only this information that is in the
folders - the memo to the Investigation Com-
mission. The Investigation Commission could
not meet before the Board meeting to approve
this and pass on it, so it's furnished as
information. Subject to Mr. Sparks' approval,
I think it would be well if the Board would
accept this, conditioned on the Investigation
Commission's acceptance, so we can go ahead
and take the action that's recommended in
there in urging further activity by the Secre-
tary of the Interior."

"As I recall the, report, it is. .exactly in
line with your thinking in previous reports to
the Board. Is that correct?"

"That's right. There are two items lack-
ing to make a real good analysis .of the trans-
mission system as proposed and those are the
things we felt we would like authority to do -
to go after the Secretary to get those out, so
that a more complete analysis of this trans-
mission system, particularly as it affects the
eastern slope areas is concerned, could be
made."

"I might point out for our guests that the
Investigation Commission that has been referred
to, is a group of engineers, lawyers and
others, who, on a voluntary basis from public
and private power groups of the state and other
groups, have been assisting the Board on the
very technical problems of transmission from
Glen Canyon Dam as it affects particularly
the State of Colorado.

I see no objection, do you, Larry, in
approving the report in principle, subject to
final approval by the Investigation Commission?
If there is no objection, I will entertain a
motion to that affect at this time."

rado Water Conservation Board apprOVe the
Colorado River Storage Project power and mar-
keting criteria as reported by Mr, Kuiper."
