"Gentlemen, we are very happy to be with
you in Gunnison. l'!e have looked forward for
some time to being with you, '!tIe haven't seen
the project or the parts of it for a period
of some' time and now that the actualauthoriza-
tion is so close it was indeed time that we
come dOWn here.

So that all of us may know more clearly
whaL we are going to see and the experiences
wea;regoing to have this afternoon,. I'd like
Lar;ry arid such members of the staff ,as he
warit~ to call on, to review particularly the
CUrecanti unit at this time. Larry,"

~~e are very happy to have representatives
from the Bureau of Reclamation here, both from
the Salt Lake and Grand Junction offices.
They have picked out the points of interest on
the tour'which they wish to show you. Mr.
Jacobson from Salt Lake - will you please
stand, Jake? Would you introduce the members
of your staff who are here?"

neer; 1~. Boydston, Senior Hydraulic Engineer;
and Mr. Morrill, Senior Hydraulic Engineer who
is our western slope resident engineer; and we
have one of our consulting engineers, Mr., Jex
from Grand Junction, with us today."

Santa Fe Park Service office here who can dis-
cuss anything in regard to recreation in con-
nection with the Curecanti. lVi th him is Mr.
