<br />Highland Ditch Companv - Foothills Reservoir Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 98-1198 - Severence Tax <br />Water Source: St. Vrain River <br />Terms of Loan: $1,040,000 @4.0%for30years <br /> <br />County: Boulder - W ofLongmont <br />Project Yield: 450 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This project is the rehabilitation of Foothills Reservoir dam, located west of Longmont in <br />Boulder County. The dam has an inadequate spillway and severe seepage through the embankment <br />and has had a storage restriction placed on it by the State Engineer. The Highland Ditch Company <br />has contracted with Smith Geotechnical Engineering Consultants of Fort Collins to analyze design <br />alternatives and complete construction plans and specifications. Construction is scheduled to <br />commence in the fall of 1999. <br /> <br />Boulder & Lefthand Irrigation Companv - Twin Lakes Outlet Improvements <br /> <br />Authorization: 1998 Small Project Loan Account <br />Water Source: Boulder Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $50,000@3.75%for 15 years <br /> <br />County: Boulder - NE of Boulder <br />Project Yield: 218 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Dam Outlet Improvements <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This project is the reconstruction of the Boulder & Lefthand Irrigation Company reservoir's <br />(Twin Lakes) outlet and inlet structures. Recent State Engineer Office inspections indicate that the <br />outlet conduit has rusted through and is functionally obsolete. Rocky Mountain Consultants of <br />Longmont are currently preparing the improvement design with construction scheduled for late <br />1999. <br /> <br />Palisade. Town of - Cottonwood Creek Pipeline Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: HB 95-1155 <br />Water Source: Cottonwood Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $750,000 @4.0% for 30 years <br /> <br />County: Mesa - SE of Palisade <br />Project Yield: 2,210 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Pipeline Replacement <br /> <br />This project is the 22,000 linear foot replacement of the Town of Palisades Cottonwood <br />Creek pipeline. The proposed pipeline will be a 12 inch diameter ductile iron pipe from the outlet <br />pipe on Cabin Reservoir to an existing pipe 5,300 feet upstream of the Town's water treatment <br />plant. The pipe will be installed along the access road that runs through the narrow rocky canyon of . <br />Cottonwood Creek. Del-Mont Consultants, Inc. of Montrose, CO. have been contracted to <br />complete the design plans. Construction is scheduled to commence during the summer of 1999. <br />
