<br />Proiects Under Construction <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Greelev and Loveland Irrigation Companv - Eaualizer Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 98-1189 <br />Water Source: Big Thompson River <br />Terms of Loan: $308,000@4.21%for30years <br /> <br />County: Larimer - E of Loveland <br />Project Yield: 885 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />This project is the rehabilitation of the Greeley & Loveland Irrigation Company's Equalizer <br />Reservoir located east of Loveland. The project includes replacement of the dam outlet gate with a <br />new structure, which will incorporate both the outlet gate and a spillway. The existing dam <br />embankment will also be raised almost four feet. ECI Consultants, Inc. of Englewood prepared the <br />construction plans and specifications with the construction contract awarded to Schmuesor and <br />Associates, Inc. of Wheatridge, CO. Construction commenced on November 16, 1998 and was <br />completed in early March 1999. Project documentation and final accounting is currently underway <br />with substantial completion scheduled for late March 1998. <br /> <br />Wamslev Cattle Companv - Pole Mountain Dam <br /> <br />Authorization: HB 93-1273 <br />Water Source: Off-Stream Drainage <br />Terms of Loan: $45,000 @ 3% for 40 years <br /> <br />County: Jackson - SW of Walden <br />Project Yield: 1,905 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This dam rehabilitation project commenced in March 1994 by the owners of the Wamsley <br />Cattle Company. The project consists of replacing the reservoir's outlet structure and improving the <br />dam's upstream slope. The work is 99% complete with the final inspection by the State Engineer's <br />office recently completed. A punch list of several items needs to be completed before the State <br />Engineer will approve the reservoir's filling plan. Substantial completion is scheduled for May <br />1999. <br /> <br />Buffalo Mutual Irrigation Company - Buffalo Mutual Irrigation Diversion Structure Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 97-008 <br />Water Source: Arkansas River <br />Terms of Loan: $378,750 @ 3.75% for 30 yrs <br /> <br />County: Prowers - E of Lamar <br />Project Yield: 17,560 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Diversion Structure <br /> <br />This $325,000 project is the re-construction of the Buffalo Mutual Irrigation Company's <br />diversion structure and headgate on the Arkansas River in Prowers County 17 miles east of the City <br />of Lamar. Wright Water Engineers of Denver, Colorado completed project design and preparation <br />of construction contract documents. The construction contract was awarded to TLM Constructors, <br />Inc. of Swink, Colorado and construction commenced September 21, 1998. The project is 99% . <br />complete with project documentation and final accounting currently underway. Substantial <br />completion is scheduled for April 1999. <br />
