MR.- VANDEMOER: What is the definition of your summer and winter? What
are your dates when you have. a summer flow and a winter flow?

MR. ROBBINS: The winter period is from the 1st of October until the.
30th of April.

MR. HELTON: Sunnner is May through'September.

I

MR. ROBBINS: The 1st of May to the 30th of September. The 1st of
October to the 30th of April.

MR. VANDEMOER: Thank you.

MR. ROBBINS: Almost all of our applications just so you know the
status -- in Water Division 2, they have all gone to decree'. We have
referees' rulings in. Water Divisions 3 and 5 on almost everything,
except those that have been challenged by the Colorado River District.
In Division 1, we are slowly working through the. applications with the
referee. In Division 7, we have a hearing on August 11. - And in
Division 4, we have rulings on our streams.; however, we have not on the
lakes because we had a disagreement as to how finite our description
must be. We have resisted going to quarter sections in unsurveyed
areas, because I didn't want to have a decree that had an improper
description in it when the U.S.G.S. finally does the survey. Weare
negotiating that now.

So that is where we stand on everything prior to 1977 - too, with the
exception of Otero, Sam. (Indicating Mr. Sam Maynes.)

MR. STAPLETON: All right.- Any further discussion on the stream and
lake levels? (No response.)

Before we go to the next item, "Consideration of floodplain information,"
we have a reservation at the Quorum for 15 people at noon. Are any
members of the Board not going to be with us for lunch? Three that
won't be. So we will have room for 5 or so, if you would like to join
us at the Quorum. It is- felt that we can adjourn at noon and come back
here at 1:15 and maybe complete the meeting by 2:30 or so.

All right, the floodplain information, do you have that,- Larry?

I

MR. SPARKS: There are in your folders appropriate resolutions to
designate the areas shown on the agenda, based upon the various flood
information reports.

This program is a major program with us and it has taken a tremendous
amount of time to accomplish these various studies. In-each case, the

-26-
