We are working
now, and have had a series of meetings in the
last few weeks with the Arkansas Valley Ditch
Association, and have been working with their
attorney recently. It appears that our objec-
tives are the same but we are having a little
bit of trouble putting these objectives into
words.

vIe are encouraged that we will get this
worked out and the repayment contract will be
negotiated shortly after that. Is that about
your estimate, Jack? Jack Ross is here; he
and Glenn Saunders are attorneys for the Dis-
trict. "

"Yes."

"We do hope in the next, probably, couple
of weeks to get the detailed wording of the
operating principles worked out to where they
can proceed with the repayment contract."

"There is nothing further this Board can do
to expedite that problem, is there?"

"I think not. We are working on it nearly
every day as from the staff level. We assume
that this is a directive of the Board and this
is what we are doing."

"You have in mind Mr. Woodson's admonition
about time?"

"We certainly do. As a matter of fact we
have discussed this time problem with them and
are well aware of the schedule we must meet."

"Are there any questions on Mr. Woodson's
report from members of the Board? Any members
of our audience? Mr. Ross?"

"No, I think Mr. Kuiper conunented ade-
quately."

"Thank you very much, Mr. Woodson.
