This report <br />was prepared in cooperation with the Water <br />Conservation Board and Colorado State univer- <br />sity. <br /> <br />According to the abstract of this report <br />'analysis of a short reach of the Arkansas <br />Valley has shown that a substantial amount of <br />water can be conserved by reducing consumptive <br />use by phreatophytes and that the ground-water <br />reservoir can provide additional supplemental <br />water for irrigation. '. <br /> <br />An administrative report entitled, 'Water <br />for the proposed West Side Campground Site, <br />Rocky Mountain National Park', was prepared for <br />the National Park Service and was released to <br />the open file on October 7th. Copies of this <br />report may be examined at the offices of the <br />Geological Survey, the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board, and the Park Engineer of the <br />Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />I think that is all that we have to report, <br />Mr. Chairman." <br /> <br />"Thank you, Mr. Odell.
