meeting of the Board held in Denver on
April 8, 1959. Copies were mailed to all
members previously. I will entertain a
motion for their approval."

"It has been moved by Mr. Peterson and
seconded by Mr. Burr that the minutes of the
April 8, 1959, meeting of the Board be ap-
proved by saying 'aye'; opposed - the minutes
are approved.

Larry do we have any minutes for the
short business session we had on the Glen
Canyon trip?"

"The appropriation that was made for the
revision on the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project to
include the Ruedi Reservoir and the appropria-
tions for cooperative aid to the Bureau on
certain projects were not taken up at a regu-
lar Board Meeting; one was taken up with the
members by telephone and the other in a memo-
randum.

Contracts have already been entered in-
to with the Bureau and in order to make those
official for-State participation, I believe
they should be ratified and confirmed by the
Board so that we will have an official action
covering these.

You will recall the appropriation from
the State was in the amount of $25,000 sup-
plementing the original $75,000 agreement,
making a total of $100,000 for further in-
vestigation and study of the Fryingpan-Ark-
ansas Project."
