This $130,000 project involved the reconfiguration of the West Rhone Lateral Ditch
Company's existing lateral, which was operated under Lateral 395 off the Grand Valley Irrigation
Canal. West Rhone's current use under Lateral 395 was abandoned and a new lateral and
diversion point off the Grand Valley Irrigation Canal was constructed. The new lateral involved
1.25 miles of 12" - 100 psi plastic pipe on a new alignment and the construction of a new
diversion structure on the Grand Valley Canal. The NRCS, Grand Junction otlice completed the
design and the project was constructed by Dominquez Farms, out of Grand Junction, Colorado.
