A copy of each project list is attached. Work
is proceeding on preparing a joint resolution authorizing the Authority to consider the
financing of Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority's water treatment plant and associated
facilities.

The Authority is pursuing the creation of a Drinking Water Revolving Fund within the
Authority under S895-83. This revolving fund would be very similar to the Water Pollution
Control Revolving Fund in that federal funds would be utilized to make subsidized loans
for drinking water projects. . The Authority will also be working with the Water Quality
Control Division and The Division of Local Government in operating this program. In
anticipation of the reauthorization of the Safe Drinking Water Act and the funding of a state
revolving fund program, this fund will be in place and ready to assist local governments
and others with their water suppiy projects. Initial funding for this revolving fund will come
from the Domestic Water Supply Project Revolving Fund by transferring either cash or
loans over a period of several years to the Drinking Water Revolving Fund.

Attachments:

DWSPRF Eligibility List
WPCRF Eligibility List

e

e
