Most of the data needed for this analysis has
been collected and will be presented in the final quantification
report that will be jointly prepared by Dr. Cooper and me.

I expect that the final report on Little Dry Creek will be
available in the next six weeks. This I feel is the most ambitious
time schedule that I can commit to at this time since we are truly
treading on untracked ground. The analysis will be very detailed
and will serve as a sufficient scientific and legal basis for an
instream flow appropriation for Little Dry Creek; in addition, it
is my hope that this experience will aid us in future directions
for the instream flow program as we gradually move away from the
cold water fishery standard and on to other "natural environments."

Please contact me at 291-7260 if you have any questions
regarding this matter.

e

:e e

JWS /l tldry
cc: Greenwood Village
Friends of Little Dry Creek
Torres
Weber
Policky
Central Region AWM & DWM
Dr. David Cooper

e e
