<br />The Northwest Colorado Council of Governments (NWCCOG) is coordinating the Upper
<br />Colorado River Project Study, focused on Summit and Grand Counties. NWCCOG is a regional
<br />government. The study address water quantity and quality issues related to growth on both the
<br />Front Range and the West Slope. NWCCOG is in Phase 2 of-the study, which has an estimated
<br />cost of $201,000. Proposed funding consists of $174,000 from study sponsors and a CWCS
<br />grant in amount of $25,000 from the Severance Tax Operational Account.
