Mr. Moses believes that if we go along <br />with the other states at the 8ongressional hearings, be- <br />hind their projects, then the technical difficulties <br />which would arise because of the fact ours did not con- <br />form with the Bureau of Budget standard, would be over- <br />come. An authorization was made without even consulting <br />the Bureau of Reclamation, the Department, or the Bureau <br />of the Budget. He thinks if we can agree and wrap this <br />up in a bundle, the whole thing would go through. <br /> <br />Mr. Bailey asked if there were any more questions. <br /> <br />Mr. Pughe asked if the Juniper site could eliminate <br />a lot of controversy. <br /> <br />Mr. Tipton replied that Juniper site had been con- <br />sidered primarily, but it is now considered as dead. <br /> <br />Mr. Williams asked if Mr. Tipton knew if there were <br />any projects in Congress presented by the Corps. of En- <br />gineers. <br /> <br />Mr. Tipton said he did not know what was before the <br />Bureau of the Budget. <br /> <br />fur.
