The legislation allowed the Board to <br />provide $250,000 to establish the foundation and authorizes the Board to provide $150,000 each year <br />thereafter to support the foundation. The Board can stop providing funds after notice has been given <br />to the eolorado Water Congress that the purposes for which the foundation was established have <br />ceased, or when the Foundation becomes self-sufficient. <br /> <br />The Bylaws of the Colorado Foundation for Water Education provide seats for the eWCB <br />Director and another Board representative for two year terms. At the May 2005 Board meeting, you <br />accepted the Foundation's Scope of Work for 2005-2006. The non-reimbursable expenditure would <br />provide the next $150,000 increment of funding for 2006-2007. Ms. Karla Brown, Executive <br />Director of the Foundation, will present the Foundation's 2004-05 accomplishments and Financial <br />Statement (attached). <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />e It would be appropriate to approve a motion to signify that the CWCB believes that the <br />funding provided to the Foundation should continue. <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
