said, I'd like to add a '~ffiEREAS' clause to our
copy if it's agreeable with the Beard, to read:

'~rnEREAS, Gcvernor Lcve has indicated the
desirability' of a recommendation as to the best
policy to be follcwed by the State of ccloradc
with respect tc Public Law 89-80,

NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the
Colorado Water Ccnservaticn Beard at a regu-
larly called meeting at Durango, CQ1orado, this
23rd day of september, 1966, dces hereby approve
and urge the active participaticn cf the State
cf Cclorado in Public Law 89-80 and encourages
the conservation, develcpment and utilization
cf water and related land resources cf Coloradc
and the United States on a ?cmprehensive and
ccordinated basis; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Cclorado
Water ccnservation Beard urges the State of
Cclorado to participate actively with other
states in the formation of river basin ccmmis-
sions and the elimination cf the inter-agency
committees, and that a copy of this resclution
be fcrwarded to the Governcr of the State of
Cclorado for such acticn as he may deem appropri-
ate... III
